Bukkake Udon

Bukkake Udon is said to have gotten its name from the practice of pouring ('bukkakeru') broth directly over the noodles because dipping them was too troublesome. No matter what toppings you add, the mild and gentle broth brings it all together. Chopped green onions, grated ginger, and tempura flakes are the classic toppings.
