These famous dumplings are nationwide favorites. Utsunomiya gyoza feature an exquisite balance of rich vegetable fillings and savory meat flavors. Light and soft on the palate, the skins are kneaded with glutinous rice flour and pork extract to enhance flavor, aroma, and texture. These vegetable gyoza are fried to a crisp and served with lightly fried colorful vegetables, completed with a tingling Sichuan pepper (sansho) spicy sauce and mustard mayonnaise.
